This is the sixty-third puzzle you'll encounter in Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy. To access this puzzle, you must interact with the horse. In order to solve this puzzle, you must figure out which tree trunk is closest to the camera.

[edit] Hints

Hint One
The four photographs were taken at different times of day, but they were all taken from the same place.

Focus on the fact that the four straight, parallel roads run between the trees...

Hint Two
All the trees look the same, which makes things difficult, but if you start eliminating every tree that appears to be behind the horse in any picture, you can quickly narrow down the possibilities.

Hint Three
The bottom-left photo shows the horse running in front of tree F, so you know that this one isn't the one closest to the camera.

The top-right photo shows the horse running in front of tree A, so it can't be that one either.

Now, repeat the same process with the other two photographs.

Super Hint
In the top-left photo, the horse runs in front of tree B, meaning that B can't be the correct answer. In the bottom-right photo, the horse runs in front of both trees C and D.

There's only one tree the horse doesn't run in front of in any of the photos. That one must be the one nearest the camera!
