[edit] Plot

Chapter 1: Mysterious Labyrinthia
After being pursued by the knights in town, Espella leads Professor Layton and Luke to the bakery to hide out, where they meet Phoenix Wright and Maya Fey. Even though they had just arrived in the town themselves, they state to Layton and Luke that they had been working in the bakery for five years. Patty Eclaire soon returns, inviting Layton and Luke to stay at the bakery for as long as they like. Espella then takes Layton and Luke to her room after Patty beings to blow a fuse towards Wright and Maya.

Upstairs they meet Espella's cat, Eve, stating she was a true friend. Layton then goes on to question her on their time in London, asking what happened after they were separated and quizzing her on her memories. She had forgotten why she came to London in the first place, but soon begins to remember Carmine Accidenti had been working at the bakery while he was in town. Despite this, no one in town seemed to know who he was. Espella remembered that Carmine had been investigating the Great Archive often for clues on unraveling the secrets behind Labyrinthia, but was caught by the witches doing so. Following his path of investigation, Layton decides it would be best to visit the Great Archive.

Once Layton and Luke return from the Great Archive, they settle for dinner with Wright, Maya, and Patty. Soon after, a group of knights come to the bakery, demanding that Wright had to defend in court for Espella, who was on trial for being a witch that night.

Chapter 3: The Great Witch
After returning from the trial, Luke and Maya find that they could not sleep. They hear Patty calling out for Eve outside the bakery, and so decide to look for her to relieve her worries.
