Crumm is a character who does not give you any puzzles to solve throughout the game. He manages the Cafe of St. Mystere. He gives vital clues about the 'kidnapper' after you have solved 30 puzzles.

Although Crumm looks like he does not want to be messed with, he likes small animals and is certainly not a force to be reckoned with.

[edit] Professor Layton's London Life
Crumm is one of the few characters who appear in Professor Layton's London Life, he plays a similar role than what he does in Professor Layton and the Curious Village. He owns a bar called the Queens Bar in the game. However, this may go against the main storyline to Curious Village that all of the villagers were robots.
