[edit] Plot

Chapter 1: The Mask of Chaos
As Professor Layton and the group pass through Oasis Street to reach the Ledore Mansion, they run into Frankie, who won't let them pass, as he suspects Layton of being the Masked Gentleman. Conner soon comes along, and proposes a battle of wits to settle their commotion, in the form of finding a ball under silver tumblers. Frankie and Luke try to find the first ball, and Frankie beats Luke to it, also beating Emmy the second time around. Layton sees through the trick, and finds the ball before Frankie does. Afterwards, Conner tells Frankie to leave for losing to his game, and he does.

Chapter 3: The Battle of Monte d'Or
Luke and Emmy come across Frankie in the Merchant District, and he blurts about how he can make his move on Angela Ledore due to her and Henry Ledore apparently not getting on well. He says this is due to not being home a lot, but little does he know that Henry is out dealing with the troubles the Masked Gentleman has been causing around Monte d'Or. He then tells Emmy he can't stand tomboys such as herself, and wasn't worth his time if she wasn't brainy either. After solving his puzzle however, he tells her he likes her style, despite being no Angela.

Chapter 5: Miracles Unmasked
Frankie is seen complaining in the Scorpion Casino about how he hadn't won fair and square, calling the dealer a crook. Professor Layton approaches the men, telling them to settle the matter rationally, and at the same time, Conner comes along and suggests a puzzle battle to settle the situation. Frankie warns Layton he had no chance of beating him, however this didn't bother him. After Conner explains the rules, Frankie figures out the puzzle, and so he and Conner waited for Layton to admit defeat. He declared there was a better solution, in the form of a "magic square" where the diagonals added up to 15 as well, by only touching two chips. Frankie and Conner didn't believe this was possible, but gave Layton a chance. By using chips to push the other chips across the board, Layton was able to solve the magic square in two moves, and thus beating Frankie. Conner declares victory to Layton, and tells Frankie to leave.

Chapter 7: The Reunion Inn
Professor Layton and the group find Frankie and Conner in the Reunion Inn, talking about who they should scam next. Conner told him he wasn't sure about their partnership, as he always found a way to mess up his perfectly set up scams, calling him useless. Layton tries to break up the argument, and Conner asks why he was in his hotel room. He tells Layton that he was interrupting their business strategy session, and he apologizes and lets them continue. They then talk again, with Frankie getting impatient that he was bothering them. Layton explains they wanted to search the room as part of the Masked Gentleman investigation, and so Conner agrees to let him, after he solved his puzzle. Afterwards, Conner lets them search the room.

[edit] Biography

"On one hand, Frankie is a rowdy troublemaker who roughs up tourists for their money. One the other, he is a romantic who holds the purest love for Angela. He always ends up involved in Conner's cunning schemes, wholly oblivious to the fact he's being used."
