Laytonmobile

The Laytonmobile traveling to St. Mystere.

The Laytonmobile is a car which is Hershel Layton's pride and joy. It is unremarkable save the fact that it has an unusually high roof to accommodate Layton's top hat, which he never takes off. It is used as a primary means of transportation as a car.

In Professor Layton and the Unwound Future, Don Paolo modifies the Laytonmobile so that it may fly, allowing Layton and company to escape the Mobile Fortress.

[edit] Professor Layton and the Curious Village

The Laytonmobile makes it's first appearance when Layton and Luke are travelling to St. Mystere. It is then parked outside the bridge, and is left there for the rest of the game, until you see Layton, Luke and Flora riding off leaving St Mystere behind.

[edit] Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box

The Laytonmobile is briefly seen in the second installment when, after Layton found his car keys in his office, walks out and drives from Gressenheller University, past the Big Ben, to Dr. Andrew Schrader's office. It is not seen again for the rest of the game.

[edit] Professor Layton and the Unwound Future

The Laytonmobile was once again seen. A replica was made by Don Paolo, found near the Green Hospital. Both Layton and Luke think that this is the Laytonmobile in the Future. It also seen when Layton, Luke, Celeste and Flora are escaping the Mobile Fortress. This is the only time it is seen to fly.

[edit] Professor Layton and the Last Specter

The Laytonmobile is seen at the beginning of the game when Layton and Emmy are driving to Misthallery. It is kept parked at the entrance into Misthallery for the duration of the game.

[edit] Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva

Towards the beginning of Eternal Diva, Emmy is seen driving the Laytonmobile, along with Professor Layton and Luke, heading towards the Crown Petone, as Layton and Luke were invited to view an opera performance starring Janice Quatlane.

[edit] Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask

The Laytonmobile does not appear in Miracle Mask until the end of the game when Layton, Luke and Emmy are heading back for London, as Layton was not able to bring the Laytonmobile into Monte d'Or.

[edit] Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy

The Laytonmobile doesn't appear in the game until the post-credits, where Layton and Luke are seen driving to St. Mystere, setting the scene for Curious Village.
