[edit] Professor Layton and the Last Specter

Professor Layton is seen at the beginning of the game making his way from London to Misthallery, after he had received a letter from his old friend Clark Triton to investigate a specter that had been haunting the town. He is soon stopped by Emmy Altava, who declares to him that she would be appointed as his new assistant, and so she accompanies him to Misthallery.

Later in the game, Layton requests Emmy to return to London to gather some files from the archives of Scotland Yard. She meets Inspector Grosky and Inspector Chelmey here, and together they go down to the archives to collect the necessary files relating to the case.

The only part of London that is seen in Miracle Mask is Layton's office at Gressenheller University, where Professor Layton, Luke and Emmy are briefly seen after receiving a letter from Angela Ledore requesting their help in regards to the Masked Gentleman.

[edit] Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy

Professor Layton, along with Luke, Emmy, Desmond Sycamore and Aurora, make a stop in London to gather resources and items for their round-world trip to collect the aura stones. First, they make a stop at a clothes store to buy clothes for Aurora, so that she didn't stand out so much in her traditional outfit. On the way, they bump into Brenda Triton, and before long, Aurora wanders off to the museum, as she sensed Azran artifacts there. After following her there, Layton suggests they look inside, however it was closed due to recent thefts.

Layton was interested in investigating this recent theft more, and so they pay a visit to Scotland Yard and request permission from Leonard Bloom to visit the archives. They discover that in the past year, there had been five thefts at the museum, despite increased security. They return to the museum, luckily meeting Clark Triton along the way. He lets them inside the museum, in order to investigate the stolen artifacts that had been returned by Inspector Bloom. They find that several of the Azran artifacts are fakes, and so they return to Scotland Yard to quiz Bloom on these recent thefts. Layton discovers that Bloom was the culprit of the museum thefts, and he is arrested by Grosky.

Layton and the others soon return to the Bostonius after gathering their necessities, and set off on their global trip.
