|Other Names||Mayor Rhys Williams|
|Occupation||Mayor of Monte d'Or|
Mayor Billson wears a brown coat over a grey vest and white shirt, with a red tie. He also wears turquoise pants, brown shoes, and has grey hair.
Mayor Billson gives you the following puzzles throughout Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask:
Chapter 3: The Battle of Monte d'Or
Professor Layton and the group meet Mayor Billson at the City Hall, and they all introduce themselves. Layton asks for permission to contact the special task force, as he was helping to investigate the case of the Masked Gentleman. Billson tells them they need all the help they can get, as the two inspectors who came from London weren't getting along well with their chief.
Upon leaving the conference, Billson tells Layton he had heard he helped debunk the miracles of the Masked Gentleman, and informed him that due to this, he has re-opened the Montsarton Gallery.
In a special episode, Mayor Billson is seen talking to Michelle, about an idea for him to assemble a special task force specially for the Masked Gentleman case. This was so they had headquarters in town and would be on hand if needed, and Michelle thinks this is a great idea.
Chapter 5: Miracles Unmasked
Mayor Billson is glad that the perpetrator has been caught, however strange he thinks that it was Alphonse Dalston. He had began cleaning up after all the work was done, but had a puzzle on his mind. After solving it, Professor Layton asks if Sheffield had told him about the case, although he only knew it was Dalston, and that everything would be found out during his interrogation.
Later on, they ask Mayor Billson if they could see the records of all the land and attributes owned by Henry Ledore, however he couldn't allow this. Layton tells him they have his permission, and could be vital information that can save the city and the residents. Mayor Billson allows this, but first gets him to solve his puzzle. After this, Mayor Billson asks Michelle to bring the records, which she had already done while they were solving the puzzle. Layton had a look through the records, and Billson asks that Layton doesn't go spreading the information around, also offering to make him an extra copy.
"The nice but dim Mayor Billson is an endearing figure to the people of Monte d'Or. When excited he gesticulates wildly and can't help prying into other people's affairs to know all the juicy details. Although he means no harm by it, he still manages to rub a few people up the wrong way."
