Another building is situated to the right of the riverbed, and mountains can be seen in the distance.

Chapter 4: The Hunt for the Eggs
Professor Layton and the group follow Flint out to the edge of the town, to discuss Old Red. Despite his warnings of how dangerous he was, the group found it important that they must find him, and so Flint directs them toward the Abandoned Mine, where he has been sighted to sleep at night.

After coming down from the mine, the group witness a confrontation between the sheriff and an old woman, who was defending Old Red. Layton inquires Flint on the situation, and tells them that she was a bit crazy, with some speculating that she had been calling Old Red into the town. Luke believed that the wolf was gentle however, and with the inquires going nowhere, they decide to look for the girl that Old Red had requested to see.

The group come back from the mine later with Scarlett accompanying them, confused as to who Old Red wanted to see. Layton then suggests that the person could possibly have been a visitor to Torrido, and may no longer be in town. With this in mind, Scarlett suggests that they talk to her grandmother, as she was always aware of the people in town.
