Pavel is a Spanish explorer who has a terrible sense of direction. He always appears in the places Professor Layton and Luke struggle to get to. He is one of the few that appear in Professor Layton and the Curious Village who are human, not robots.
Pavel is an explorer who looks surprisingly underprepared for his travels across the globe. He wears a white hat the covers his bald head, with purple glasses. He wears a white explorers suit with a brown satchel bag. He wears black boots with white socks.
Pavel doesn't play a massive role in this game. He only gives one puzzle to Layton and Luke to figure out. He is seen in the sewers, and in the tower.
Pavel is seen in the next game in the abandoned gold mine in Folsense. Like the last game, he only gives 1 puzzle to Layton and Luke to figure out.
Pavel, like other games, does not have a major role like the other two games. He is seen near Chinatown and the River Thames. Like the last two games, he only gives out 1 puzzle for Layton and Luke to solve.
