[edit] Puzzles

Puck gives you the following puzzles in Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask:

[edit] Plot

Chapter 1: The Mask of Chaos
Puck is seen in one of the special episodes singing the carnival song, when Stumble almost trips on his feet. He then gets tangled in Puck's balloons, and Juggles tries to help them out. Instead, he starts juggling for Puck and tells Stumble to untangle himself and give back Puck's balloons. Puck is amazed by Juggles' performance, wondering how he was so amazing at his tricks.

Chapter 3: The Battle of Monte d'Or
Upon travelling to the Dalston Mansion, Puck asks Professor Layton and the group if they had been to the circus yet, as it was better than the Masked Gentleman's tricks. Layton asks if he really thought they were tricks, and he tells them that magic doesn't exist. He believes that just as every puzzle has an answer, every trick could be explained.

Chapter 5: Miracles Unmasked
Puck asks Luke and Emmy if they knew about the funfair, and is excited for the Masked Gentleman to make an appearance there that night. Luke and Emmy express their concern that it could be dangerous, as a roller coaster could fly into the sky, or the horses could start coming off the merry-go-round, or even the ferris wheel rolling all over the place (making a reference to Professor Layton and the Curious Village), however Luke thinks that would be silly. Puck then agrees that he would stay away from Pumpkin Park that night.

The group find Puck at the One-Ring Circus, to which he was having fun in the festivities. Layton asks if he should be out without his parents, but he states he was a big boy, and that Layton couldn't leave without buying something from his stall. He disagrees, but does state he had a nice variety of things at his stall. Puck then decides to show him a project a customer was working on, and afterwards tells them to have some fun.

Chapter 7: The Reunion Inn
Emmy notices how energetic Puck looked, and remembered when she was a child. Puck reveals that he is actually 20 years old, and uses his baby face to try and attract people. He also thinks that this way, people would be nice to him, but wonders what it would be like to go back to his childhood. However, he still wanted to act like a child so that the people of the town adored him. Emmy asks Luke if he wanted to be treated that way, but he preferred to act and dress like an adult.

[edit] Biography

"This balloon-toting little boy may look sweet, but behind his jangling jester costume hides a fully grown adult. Puck does what he does to get attention from tourists, but he's only succeeded in being pampered by eccentric figures like Juggles and Sterling."
