Raymond plays a bigger role in Azran Legacy than in other games, although still very minor. He appears at the beginning of the game when Professor Layton and the others board the Bostonius, and is the pilot of the airship. After giving Layton a puzzle to solve, he takes the others to Froenborg, to meet with Professor Desmond Sycamore, who had requested Layton's assistance in investigating a living mummy.
Throughout most of the game, he stays in the Bostonius, and pilots it to take the others around the world in search for the aura stones.
After a sword fight between Layton and Jean Descole, Raymond swoops to Descole's rescue and carries him away in a flying machine.
At the end of the game, Raymond is seen again with Descole travelling away in the Bostonius, planning their new adventure together.
"For many years, Raymond has been the right-hand man to both Descole and his master's alter ego, Professor Sycamore. He has many talents, including airship maintenance. How the two met is unclear, but there is undoubtedly a strong bond between Descole and his loyal butler."
- Despite appearing in numerous games, Raymond has only one biography, appearing in Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy.
