The Reunion Inn is the biggest and world-renowned hotel in Monte d'Or, owned by Henry Ledore. The only way to reach the Reunion Inn is by taking the tram. The inspiration behind the hotel was the disappearance of Randall Ascot, the hotel was awaiting for his return and so that the search party for him wouldn't turn cold.

When Henry searched the Akbadain Ruins for Randall, he was greeted with lost treasure that made him a millionaire. He put nearly all the investment into the hotel, making it the biggest hotel and causing more people to visit Monte d'Or.

[edit] Appearance

The Reunion Inn has a very complicated architecture, with a few rooms protruding from the main building. Each building has either a domed or very pointy roof, and the building itself has many floors.

[edit] Areas of Interest

[edit] Reunion Inn Front Desk

The Reunion Inn Front Desk is the room where guests first come to when entering the hotel. Professor Layton and the group meet Mordy here when they first enter the Reunion Inn.

The lobby is laid with a blue and orange carpet, and has a red cushioned seat in the middle of the room. The reception desk is easily recognizable by its blue banner stretched across the top.

[edit] Henry's Office

Henry's office is one of the places where he likes to do his work, the other being his study at the Ledore Mansion. This is where Professor Layton and the group find vital evidence to solve the final puzzle of Akbadain, including the real Mask Of Chaos.

It is evident that most of Henry's work is done here due to the messiness of the room, which is very unlike him. A framed wall can be seen along the left wall, which looks exactly like the wall from Randall Ascot's room with all his research. There are many brown bookcases, and there is a desk with the toy robot Randall had given to Henry as a child. There is also a picture of the two when they were young. There is also a wooden table with a red chair seated at it, and framed swords along the right wall.

[edit] Ruby Suite

The Ruby Suite is one of the guest rooms that Professor Layton and the group are asked to investigate to find the Masked Gentleman. It looks identical to the Emerald and Sapphire Suites, with the only difference being the color.

The Ruby Suite has a large blue bed, next to a large window that stretches across the whole back wall, decorated with red curtains. There are two green couches that outlook this window. A pot plant lies along a column in the middle of the room. There are two cream and brown colored couches seated at a brown coffee table, which all stand on top of a red rug. There is a framed picture hanging on the left wall.

[edit] Emerald Suite

The Emerald Suite is one of the guest rooms that Professor Layton and the group are asked to investigate to find the Masked Gentleman. It looks identical to the Ruby and Sapphire Suites, with the only difference being the color. This guest room is occupied by Frankie and Conner.

The Emerald Suite has a large blue bed, next to a large window that stretches across the whole back wall, decorated with green curtains. There are two green couches that outlook this window. There is a framed picture hanging on the left wall.

[edit] Sapphire Suite

The Sapphire Suite is one of the guest rooms that Professor Layton and the group are asked to investigate to find the Masked Gentleman. It looks identical to the Ruby and Emerald Suites, with the only difference being the color. This guest room is occupied by Yuming.

[edit] Conservatory

The Conservatory is where all the plants are kept. There are a wide variety of plants kept here. There is a control behind a large red flower that controls the temperature of the room, to grow different fruits. This is where Professor Layton and the group find a book from the Masked Gentleman, which is being held by a parrot.

The Conservatory has many varying trees and plants. A moat runs around in the middle of the room to form a small island.

[edit] Grand Hall

The Grand Hall is where all functions are held, and is a very large room in height. This is where the group find the final book. The Masked Gentleman uses this height to weave a trap, leaving Luke hanging on the ropes for Professor Layton to save.

The Grand Hall consists of many floors, but the main hall itself has blue and orange carpet, with a blue rug leading up a flight of stairs. There are red cushioned seats with flowers centered in between them, and tables circling around the seats. Blue banners hang from the higher levels.

[edit] Auditorium

The Auditorium is the final room Professor Layton and the group are required to investigate in order to track down the Masked Gentleman. It is the place where movies are shown. After the group view a movie, which is a continuation from the last book, set by the Masked Gentleman, he appears.

The Auditorium has a large screen at the front of the room, with drawn back red curtains on either side. There is a large red stage with a flight of stairs on either side. There is a door and a bookshelf off to the left side of the room. Half of the room is taken up by red seats for guests to view movies, and a chandelier hangs from the ceiling.

[edit] Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask

Chapter 7: The Reunion Inn
Emmy, Professor Layton and Luke go here to start the search for the Masked Gentleman. In the meantime, Bronev talks to Leonard Bloom about trying to find the Mask Of Chaos in the hotel.

Mordy, as the hotel manager, welcomes them into the hotel and lets the trio into Henry's study to have a look around. They find a toy robot, a photo of Henry and Randall when they were youngsters and a book titled The Special Investigation Team Explorations.

Once Professor Layton is finished talking with Mordy, the team head back to the lobby where Mordy gives the trio a storybook. The book gives the location of the next storybook, which was hidden in one of the hotel suites. This then gives a hint of the next book's whereabouts, found in the Inn's Conservatory, which soon leads them to the Grand Hall. Due to the lack of a conclusion in this book, the team are lead to the Auditorium, where they watch the ending to the book. The lights suddenly come back on afterwards, and Emmy and Layton notice that the Masked Gentleman had kidnapped Luke. He hangs Luke from a set of ropes strung around the Grand Hall, leaving Layton to risk his life in order to save him. After Luke is saved, Layton indicates to the Masked Gentleman that he knew his identity, and so after taking off his mask, he reveals himself to be the long missing Randall Ascot.

Randall then explains why he had chosen to be a villain and his whereabouts for the last 18 years. He says that he had suffered from amnesia and was found by an old farmer called Firth. He had been working on his farm for the past 18 years but suddenly got a letter, explaining that Henry had married Angela and stolen Randall's research of the Akbadain Ruins. Filled with rage, Randall became the Masked Gentleman to terrorize Henry and Monte d'Or for revenge.

Chapter 8: The Last Miracle
Randall makes his way to the Inn's roof, explaining he will destroy Monte d'Or for his final miracle, leaving the team to find out how to save Monte d'Or.
