The Wall of Norwell is a location seen in Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask. It is a large mural situated at the end of the forest in Stansbury, and is a large map that leads to the location of the Mask Of Chaos, an ancient Azran artifact that had been buried for millions of years. For thousands of years, researchers had failed to decipher the symbols on the wall, however after months of research, Randall Ascot had discovered its purpose. It is connected to the Winding Path on the map.
The Wall of Norwell is a large blue-green wall, encased by a large rock wall, with vines running down it. The rocks and structures in the area are covered in moss, and a shallow pool of water covers most of the ground.
Chapter 4: Angela's Tears
After Randall Ascot reveals to Angela Ledore and Hershel Layton that he had found the Mask Of Chaos, he decides to take them to the location of what lead him to find the mask, the Wall of Norwell. Once they arrive, Randall tells them that the wall is a giant map that leads to the location of the Mask of Chaos. He helps Hershel to decipher part of the wall by referring to the fossil puzzle they had solved in class that day.
Randall reveals that the mask also contains a map on its inner side, leading to Thornley's Gorge where the Ruins of Akbadain were located, and that he intended to go there with Hershel. Angela couldn't bear the thought of Randall putting himself in such danger, so she snatches the mask from Randall and runs away.
