[edit] Plot

Chapter 1: The Mask of Chaos
Upon entering the Dromedary Hotel, Professor Layton and the group meet Yuming, who is excited to tell the group of how happy she is with the establishment. She disagrees with the name, however, but Layton says how he is quite fond of it. She tells the group of another hotel in town in which is supposedly a lot better than the Dromedary, and recommends the group visits it while they were in town.

Chapter 3: The Battle of Monte d'Or
Professor Layton and the group pass by Yuming outside the Montsarton Gallery, and she compliments Layton on how gentlemanly he looks. As an excuse to give him a puzzle, she heard that gentleman went well with mystery, and after solving the puzzle, she tells him she trusts that he would catch the Masked Gentleman.

Chapter 7: The Reunion Inn
Professor Layton and the group find Yuming in one of the guest suites in the Reunion Inn, which confuses Layton as he thought she was staying at the Dromedary Hotel. She explained that they had gotten a few of her dates mixed up, and so was put into the Reunion Inn for a few days. She preferred it here, as the room was fancier and the service was first rate. She allowed them to stay, and gives them a puzzle. She then says she likes the hotels in the city, but wondered who came up with the names.

[edit] Biography

"A music artist from the Far East who came to Monte d'Or to take a break from her hectic life, Yuming is a very amiable woman who's unafraid to speak her mind. She currently stays at the Reunion Inn, where the view of the night sky is her latest inspiration."

[edit] Trivia

  • Yuming is similar to Last Specter's Naiya, in that they're both in-game representations of Japanese singers who sing their respective games' end credits song.
